New To this Blogger Thing

Well, I have decided to put my toes into the blogging world after years of following them.  I've written journals for years, but the urge to enter the blogging community and share a bit about myself and my passions has finally grown too tempting.  I'm an avid knitter and crocheter, which is why I say it is about the yarn.  It's hard to choose a favorite when I enjoy both so much.  I'm also a wife, and a mother of one lovely daughter and two spoiled cats.  My other passion is photography, although I'll admit I'm a total amateur.  But this is another reason to blog.  It gives me a great excuse to take more pictures to share.  There is nothing like the motivation to get me going.
